Materials & Care
To maintain the quality and feel of our organic and eco-friendly fabrics we recommend the following wash and care instructions:
We recommend using detergents that are 100% free of perfumes and dyes, and any other extras. No fabric softeners should be used.
COTTON
- Wash: To preserve screen printed inks machine wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors or by hand.
- Dry: We recommend hanging or laying flat for best results. The heat of a dryer may cause ink to fade and pilling on fabric.
- Iron: Do not iron. Steam inside out, if needed.
- Do not bleach: It will cause spotting in fabric.
BAMBOO
- Wash: Bamboo is a very delicate fabric, it should only be washed with other bamboo fabric. Machine wash, no agitator, inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors. For best results wash by hand, do not rub fabric together.
- Dry: We recommend hanging or laying flat for best results. The heat of a dryer will likely cause pilling.
- Iron: Do not iron. Steam inside out, if needed.
- Do not bleach: It will cause spotting in fabric.
CARING FOR BAMBOO: our bamboo content of 95% makes it a very delicate fabric that can sometimes pill from contact with other surfaces or fabrics and improper washing. Pilling is within the nature of bamboo fabric to an extent and may occur from wearing and washing. However, the fabric will remain soft. Our policy does not cover replacing items due to pilling. Please follow our wash instructions to reduce the likelihood of pilling.
