Our Vision for a Sustainable Future
At Tenth & Pine® we have always been committed to using only certified organic, sustainable, and environmentally friendly materials. All while minimizing our carbon footprint by manufacturing our products locally in the USA.

Small Batch
Locally Made
We are proud to keep our production and manufacturing within USA. We favor ethical production because it means less waste and better working conditions for our team. We are able to minimize our carbon footprint partnering with manufacturers in Los Angeles and New York.
NON - TOXIC
Water - Based Inks
As a compound, water-based ink is much more gentle on the environment than plastisol ink. It simply doesn’t contain any of the toxic chemicals of its plastisol counterparts (no PVC, no phthalates). Instead it’s comprised of naturally occurring substances.

Thoughtful, Plastic Free
100% Recyclable Packaging
Our mailers are made from 100% recycled kraft paper and naturally biodegradable. They are 90% post-consumer content, are curbside recyclable, and compostable.
Our muslin cotton bags are made from recycled materials and left unbleached to avoid harmful chemicals. They're perfect to keep and use for toys, diaper bags, storage... the possibilities are endless!
Tri-City Forest Project
Carbon Neutral Shipping
We've partnered with an amazing eco-tech company that allows our shoppers to offset the carbon footprint of their shipments. Your contributions go directly to the Tri-City Forest Projects, which protects the spruce forest in Massachusetts, projects of over 6,500 acres of forest and captures over 100,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide each year.

Future Generations
Our People & Planet
Organic agriculture protects the health of people and the planet by reducing overall exposure to toxic chemicals from synthetic pesticides that can end up in the ground, air, water and food supply, and that are associated with numerous health consequences, from asthma to cancer. Because organic agriculture doesn’t use toxic and persistent pesticides, choosing organic products is an easy way to help protect you, your family and the farming communities that are growing cotton.

GOTS Certified Organic Cotton
In its purest form, organic cotton is higher quality, safer for farmers and ultimately one of the best sustainable threads made. Not to mention its favorable natural color. Organic cotton uses 88% less water and greenhouse gases which lessen our environmental footprints. It requires 62% less artificial energy as it relies on nature's own energy to thrive. Organic cotton is produced without any toxic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified seeds (GMOs).

GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, from the harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible practices, certified by an independent third party.
Our GOTS organic cotton is its natural color. It is left untreated, unbleached and never dyed.

Viscose From Bamboo
Just like our 100% organic cotton, viscose bamboo threads are as soft as a bed of pillows and mimic a silk-like feel. Bamboo plants are harvested, turned into yarn and woven into the sustainable material our customers love. Naturally, bamboo is a viable plant. It does not require large amounts of water as it is a natural humectant, meaning it preserves moisture. It also does not need to be replanted as it essentially replants itself during growth. Even in its final form, bamboo viscose maintains its ability to be a breathable fabric, making it a comfortable go-to all year round.
